Board Member

Javeria Javed holds a BSc in Neuropsychology and an MSc in Global Mental Health and Epidemiology from Queen Mary University of London, a leading Russell Group institution recognised for academic excellence and research impact. Her academic training integrates neuroscience, clinical psychology, and population-level mental health research, equipping her with both scientific depth and a strong understanding of global mental health systems.

With a rigorous foundation in brain-behaviour relationships, psychiatric epidemiology, and evidence-based intervention frameworks, Javeria is committed to advancing accessible, culturally sensitive mental health care. Her work centres on fostering psychologically safe, confidential, and non-judgmental spaces where students and individuals can explore emotional challenges and receive guidance tailored to their specific cognitive, emotional, and social contexts.

As a Board Member of the Mian Tahir Javed Foundation, she plays an active strategic role in strengthening community mental health initiatives, educational outreach, and welfare programmes. She is particularly invested in bridging the gap between research and real-world application- translating neuropsychological and public mental health evidence into practical, community-based support systems.

Grounded in professionalism, compassion, and scientific integrity, Javeria continues to advocate for holistic well-being, preventative mental health strategies, and equitable access to psychological support.
